There are three levels of membership in the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.

Active (Any pharmacist whose primary interest and practice is in the area of infectious diseases pharmacotherapy or research may be an active member. Prospective members must provide evidence of such a professional orientation by virtue of a current curriculum vitea and two letters of reference attesting to the applicant's activity in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy. In addition, prospective members must have been practicing or performing research in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy for at least two years after receipt of the terminal academic degree.)

Associate (Pharmacist or non-pharmacists not meeting the requirements for the Active membership, but working in the area of infectious diseases may participate as non-voting members of the Society. Associate member applicants must submit a curriculum vitae with the application form and also 1 letter of reference.

Trainees (fellows and residents in ID) must submit a letter of reference from their program director. Dues are reduced for trainees.

Active and Associate Members: $100 for1 year (U.S.) or $270 for 3yrs
Trainee-Associate Members: $25
