Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Fellowship

Location: Anti-Infective Research Laboratory, Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.

Start Date: July 2023

Position Overview: Antimicrobial Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and Infectious Diseases Health Outcomes Research Fellowship Program.  Three tracks available: Track 1# PK/PD modeling, laboratory training including microbiological & instrument training, practical experience in clinical research.  Track 2# ID Health Outcomes, applied health epidemiology and outcomes assessment and practical training in clinical research including antimicrobial stewardship.  Track 3# is a combination of PK/PD -Lab and ID Health Outcomes.  All tracks involve advanced didactic coursework including biostatistics, epidemiology (Public Health Certificate and MPH degree tracks available with tuition paid) and experience in student clinical training on ID service and classroom lectures.  Qualifications: PharmD or PhD with residency or equivalent post-graduate experience.
