PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency

Description: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, a 904-bed academic medical center in downtown Chicago, is offering a post-graduate year two (PGY2) infectious diseases (ID) residency program. The purpose of this program is to expand upon the competencies achieved in a post-graduate year one (PGY1) residency to promote the development of proficient, independent clinicians with an expertise in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy and antimicrobial stewardship. Learning experiences include ID consult services (general medicine, surgical, and immunocompromised/transplant), microbiology, antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship, HIV, and health system stewardship administration.
