This multidisciplinary symposium is intended to bring together key stakeholders and practitioners in Antimicrobial Stewardship from around the region to learn more about this topic and discuss ways that we can work together as a medical community to improve appropriate antimicrobial use and mitigate their risks.

There will be presentations in the morning discussing various stewardship topics including Dr. Libby Dodds Ashley discussing “Engaging Providers: Using Metrics to Drive Change”, Dr. Kristi Kuper reviewing new and emerging therapies, and Dr. Arjun Srinivasan discussing the role of the CDC in stewardship.

Registrants will have the opportunity to attend 4 of the 16 different topics offered in roundtable discussions that afternoon. The registration deadline is Friday, January 25th, and registration is limited to the first 175 registrants. The entire day will be worth 5.25 contact hours. If you require hotel accommodations for the duration of the Symposium, a small block of rooms is available at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt until January 1st.
