Purpose

SIDP is committed to our vision of safe and effective antimicrobials for now and the future. Therefore, we offer the opportunity for individuals or other non-profit organizations to apply for funding to support educational initiatives that align with the mission, vision, and core values of SIDP. Proposed programs are encouraged to be developed by a multidisciplinary team and provide public education and/or support novel training mechanisms for healthcare professionals. Involvement of a pharmacist is encouraged in design and/or target audience. Programs that generate educational content that will be made free and publicly available will be scored favorably. This grant is not intended to fund stewardship research projects with an individual hospital or healthcare system or any other form of research.
