bioMérieux has a position open for an Antimicrobial Stewardship Director to be based in the Northern region of the United States (ME, VT, NH, NY, NJ, PA, OH, IN, RI, CT, MA, MI, KY, WV).
Position Summary:
To facilitate the development, delivery, and management of commercial consulting projects related to Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy practice in the US Clinical Market, as directed by the US Sales Sr. Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship to support sustainable, profitable growth.
Main Accountabilities:
- Co-Lead the content development and delivery of ID Clinical Pharmacy Consulting to improve customer effectiveness and efficiency in Antimicrobial Stewardship performance
- Contribute to the clinical utility, commercial process advancement, customer acceptance, and profitable growth of bioMérieux Data Analytics Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Improve customer centricity and competency around our commercial capabilities of Actionable Diagnostics in a healthcare provider setting
- Collaborate with US Clinical Corporate Accounts through Enterprise Contracting Models
- Contribute to the development and deployment of a clinical “Risk Share” contracting model in support of our Antimicrobial Stewardship market position
- Expand commercial competencies of ID Clinical Pharmacy (knowledge, skill, and experience) to improve bioMérieux’s performance in the US Clinical Market
Studies and Experience:
- Advanced degree (Doctorate in Pharmacy) required. BCPS-AQ ID or BCIDP preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5-years experience practicing ID Clinical Pharmacy
- Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee experience
- Functional knowledge of Clinical Decision Support systems (i.e. Theradoc, Sentri7, Vigilanz)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Presentation and advanced communication skills in a B2C environment
- Functional Computer, Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic IT knowledge (related to Data Management, Networking, HIPAA and Cyber Security)
- Field travel requirement: up to 50%
- Ability to work in a matrix environment; managing without authority
